CURRICULUM
What do we learn in drama…
In our curriculum, each unit builds upon lessons students have had in the previous year. Students use their previous knowledge and skills to excel at a new and more advanced facet of drama. Our units are designed to not only provide our students with theatre skills, but skills they will use in all subjects and life in general. This skills include: collaboration, public speaking, critical thinking, confidence, creativity and many more. Students will also learn elements of the theatre world, such as dramatic structure, vocabulary, theme, symbolism, personification, persuasive arguments (to name a few) which will help them on their English MCAS!
